CRWA Membership Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Where's my CRWA Streamer newsletter?
A. Every four months CRWA publishes a newsletter or Annual Report to keep you current on happenings in the watershed. If you are a new member, your first issue should arrive about a week after we process your payment, as part of your welcome packet. If you are a current member, there are several possibilities. If you have moved recently, your magazine may have gotten lost in the mail (the Post Office is not required to forward your magazine). Or your membership may have expired (if you wait to renew until just before your membership expires, you may also miss an issue). Call CRWA's membership coordinator at 781-788-0007 ext. 231 or email membership@crwa.org if you have questions.

Q. Do you share my name with other groups?
A. CRWA is careful about keeping your personal information secure and private. Occasionally we share a few names that are on our database so that our members are invited to complimentary events, such as the Green Masterpieces Concert. We always secure a list sharing agreement to insure that our members are not solicited by other organizations. If you do not want your name exchanged at all, please call Member Services at 781-788-0007 ext. 231 or email membership@crwa.org and let us know you want your name removed from the any list exchanges. You can also write: CRWA, 190 Park Road, Weston, MA 02493 to request that your name be removed from exchange lists.

Q. I got another renewal notice but I sent in my payment already. What's going on?
A. Usually when this happens it's because our renewal mailing and your payment crossed paths. If you wait to renew your membership until the very end of its term, you can call Member Services at 781-788-0007 ext. 231 or email membership@crwa.org and ask to check the status of your payment and membership.

Q. What is your gift acknowledgement policy?
A. CRWA is most appreciative of all donations and we send you a thank you letter stating the date of your gift and gift amount within a week of receiving your donation. Please keep these letters for your tax records at the end of the year. However you can help, please know that your support is deeply appreciated!
