Senior Climate Resilience Associate

As the Senior Climate Resilience Associate, Dira primarily works with the Charles River Climate Compact (CRCC), a partnership of twenty-eight watershed communities that takes a watershed approach to climate change impacts to design and implement regional climate adaptation projects, to advocate for and implement nature-based solutions.

Dira has a B.S. and an M.Sc in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston, with a background in aquatic toxicology research. Prior to joining CRWA, Dira volunteered as an educator at the New England Aquarium, where she grew her interest in bridging the world of science and public communication.

Originally from Malaysia, Dira is always in search of food that tastes like home. She also enjoys painting and yoga and plans to publish a children’s book in the future.
