Muddy River Vision Workshop

  • Brookline Village Public Library 361 Washington Street Brookline, MA, 02445 United States (map)

HELP ENVISION A CLEAN, FLOWING MUDDY RIVER!

Join Charles River Watershed Association and Emerald Necklace Conservancy for a collaborative workshop exploring options to improve water quality and reduce stormwater pollution in the Muddy River. In the heart of Boston’s Emerald Necklace, the Muddy River and its subwatershed (reaching across Boston, Brookline, and Newton) contribute significant pollution to the Charles River.

We’ll dive deeper into strategies and nature-based solutions that can clean up this iconic tributary. Share your thoughts on the future of this 6-square-mile watershed. What solutions do you like best; what are your biggest concerns? Your opinion counts! This workshop will inform future restoration efforts. We hope you’ll join us and tell us what you want to see in your community.
