Heather serves as CRWA’s General Counsel, overseeing the organization’s legal advocacy and internal operations.
Prior to joining CRWA in 2019, Heather was a staff attorney at Conservation Law Foundation in Boston, where she worked on high-impact climate litigation, fought for public access to the waterfront, and advocated for increased climate resiliency. Heather began her legal career at Defenders of Wildlife in Washington, DC, and worked at the Southern Environmental Law Center in Charleston, SC. Heather earned her B.S. from Clemson University and J.D. from Georgetown Law and has participated in UMass Boston’s Emerging Leaders Program. Heather currently serves on the board of the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy in Albany, NY
