Charles River Apparel Sustains Its Namesake - ASI Central

“CRWA has advocated for the protection of the Charles River since 1965. The association hosts one of the largest annual Earth Day cleanups in the country with over 500 volunteers on 30 sites down the river at this year’s event… In addition to its manual support, Charles River Apparel sponsored and outfitted volunteers at CRWA’s “Run of the Charles,” a paddling race that aids the association’s year-long initiatives, including environmental research on sustainability and water quality.”

A new article by ASI highlights the generosity of Charles River Apparel, who participated in our 2024 Earth Day Clean Up and donated 100 shirts to CRWA for our 2024 Run of the Charles paddling race. “ ‘Their commitment as volunteers, sponsors and donors of high-quality products through events like the Cleanup and Run of the Charles allows us to continue working toward a clean, resilient Charles River for all,’ said Emily Norton, CRWA executive director.” Thank you, ASI Central, for reporting on CRWA’s work and the generous support of our partners!
