Congratulations, Dira!

We are pleased to announce Dira Johanif is transitioning to a new role as CRWA's Senior Climate Resilience Associate.

Since 2021, Dira has played an integral role in our climate resilience, stormwater, and education programs, first as a Climate Resilience Specialist, and recently as our Urban Resilience Advocate.

In her new role, Dira will help coordinate the Charles River Climate Compact (CRCC), a partnership of twenty-eight watershed communities that takes a watershed approach to climate change impacts to design and implement regional climate adaptation projects, to advocate for and implement nature-based solutions.

Charles River

Charles River Watershed Association’s mission is to use science, advocacy, and the law to protect, restore, and enhance the Charles River and its watershed. We develop science-based strategies to increase resilience, protect public health, and promote environmental equity as we confront a changing climate.
