Make your voice heard - Shape a more resilient Charles River watershed!

Did you know two of the most pressing climate change issues facing our watershed are heavy/extreme rain and increasing temperatures? Heavier rains and rising temperatures will lead to more flooding and infrastructure challenges, and threaten public health and the ecological health of the watershed.

CRWA and the Charles River Climate Compact have two ongoing initiatives to address flooding and heat impacts using nature-based solutions and green infrastructure, and we want to hear from watershed residents about what features you’d like to see in your community. Your insights will help shape projects that reflect community needs and uplift community values.

We know the survey fatigue is real, but please consider taking both of our quick surveys to help advance critical, resilience-building efforts:

How will your input be used?

Your feedback will be used to inform final recommendations for both our flood reduction and tree expansion planning processes. Input from the flood survey will primarily be used to inform flood mitigation concept designs being developed across the watershed that may be in your city or town. Responses to the tree survey will be used to prioritize the possible actions that have been identified by the project’s lead consultant for communities to protect trees and add new ones.

Your voice matters! Resident input will be considered alongside municipal input to ensure the final recommendations reflect local needs and priorities.
