CRWA Gifts Watertown Poster for Commitment to Climate Resiliency (PRESS RELEASE)

JUNE 26, 2024: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WATERTOWN, MA—On June 25th, in a gesture of appreciation, Charles River Watershed Association (CRWA) staff Zeus Smith, Arrianna Proia, and Emilia Dick Fiora del Fabro presented a framed commemorative poster to the Watertown City Council. The poster, created by local artist Kari Percival, was originally showcased at our recent Herring Festival, where City Councilors Caroline Bays, Lisa Feltner, and John Gannon spoke.

The art symbolizes our gratitude for the Council’s unwavering commitment to climate resiliency and reflects our shared values and ongoing collaboration to address future environmental changes. The Watertown City Council members accepted the poster, expressed gratitude for CRWA’s recognition, and affirmed their continued dedication to implementing climate-resilient initiatives.
