Heather serves as CRWA’s General Counsel and Director of Operations, ensuring that the organization is operating effectively as it carries out its mission. 

Prior to joining CRWA in 2019 as General Counsel and Policy Director, Heather was a staff attorney at Conservation Law Foundation, where she worked on high impact climate litigation, fought for public access to the waterfront, and advocated for increased climate resiliency. Heather began her legal career at Defenders of Wildlife in Washington, DC and has also worked at the Southern Environmental Law Center in Charleston, SC. Heather earned her B.S. from Clemson University and J.D. from Georgetown Law, and participated in UMass Boston’s Emerging Leaders Program.
