Simret serves as CRWA's Development Associate. Working alongside the Development Director and Manager, she assists with special events, fundraising programs, and other development activities to support the vital work of our organization to protect the Charles River and its watershed. Before joining the CRWA team, she worked as a Development Associate at the Henry L. Stimson Center in Washington D.C. She earned her B.A. in International Affairs from American University and more recently earned her Grant Writing Certificate from SenecaWorks LLC.
Simret grew up in Millis, MA, on a small rescue farm along the Charles River. She enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, being around animals, and being outdoors. She is very excited to be working and contributing to the restoration and conservation of the Charles.
