Gov. Healey Awards Nearly $14 Million in Funding for Dams and Coastal Infrastructure

Gov. Maura Healey today announced over $13.9 million in grants to support the repair of dams and coastal infrastructure across Massachusetts.

The funding will support two projects in the Charles River Watershed: $250,000 is dedicated to a Sanford Mill Pond Dam Alternatives Assessment in Medway, and $123,750 is dedicated to improving Red Dam in Wrentham

The funding aims to help municipalities and nonprofits address critical repairs and safely remove outdated structures in their communities. Kudos to the Commonwealth for mitigating flood risks!
