Listen to the Muddy River! New podcast episode out now

Flowing through Olmsted’s iconic Emerald Necklace, the Muddy River is one of the most celebrated urban tributaries of the Charles River. However, centuries of development and urbanization along its banks in Boston and Brookline have severely degraded its water quality, earning it a D- grade in the 2020 Charles River Report Card. What happens when an ecologically connecting thread gets obscured?

We collaborated with the Consensus Building Institute (CBI) on the creation of this podcast episode dedicated to the Muddy River. This 14-minute listen brings together people with connections to different aspects of the Muddy, all to talk about how the river came to its present condition and what the Muddy River means for the world around it. (Available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.)
